Some last minute venue info
This may be really helpful.....bring WATER. There is no on site water, so its pretty important to drag along some H20, you could get really really thirsty. Seriously.
Oh yeah, pre-reg closes on thursday night at midnight!!!! Bikereg says 12:30 am on friday....thats actually the first 12 of the day....midnight on thursday! So avoid the $10 day of registration charge and pre-register on bikereg today! Link is on the right side of your screen.

LOCAL ACCOMMODATIONS
There is a bunch of really enjoyable activities to do in michaux over the holiday weekend.
Caledonia state park has two major campsites, an in ground pool, a running stream, ponds to fish in, and miles of trails (including the Appalachian trail) to entertain you for the weekend.
Pine Grove Furnace state park is located right at two lakes, fuller and laurel, both with beach fronts and boating opportunities. There is a nice campground at the furnace as well as a few group camping areas. There is a vast plethora of amazing mountain bike trails headed out of pine grove.
Also located in pinegrove is the A.Y.H. Hostel/Ironmaster's Mansion with very affordable rooms, be quick with reservations, since it will be a holiday weekend.
